I apologize for not having a fancier recipe to post tonight, I'm working in Melbourne this week so I won't be able to do any cooking, but hopefully I'll be able to find some good restaurants and post some yummy pictures on instagram for you. With that being said, I had a look through some things I've made recently and homemade ketchup was something I tried making over the weekend and it turned out delicious. Much better than all the sugar you get in the store bought kind. If you also miss ketchup this is quite easy to whip up. This recipe came from Skinny Taste and I highly recommend you check out her sight, she's got some great stuff!

  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan
  2. Cook over medium heat until the sauce reaches a smooth consistency
  3. Refrigerate and serve cold
