Today I got off work early, which is always nice!  So after a a little time at the beach (it's the middle of winter in Australia so I wasn't sunbaking, but luckily it was nice enough to get some sunshine) I went on a bit of a shopping spree at the grocery store and came home to watch the Olympics and experiment in the kitchen.  I'm still waiting on my flatmate to do some taste testing, but this weekend I'll be posting some new fun recipes!  Today's post is a quick smoothie that I came across from Multiply Delicious, she really makes some of the best sweet treats!


  • 2 bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 tbsp honey


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth
