This recipes is a bit reminiscent.  My mom and I made this for dinner when I was visiting California in June and it's become one of my favourite things to make.  So simple but so tasty (which is why my sauce is simply called "tasty" sauce).  Dig in!

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated carrots
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey

  1. Preheat oven to 375F or light up the BBQ
  2. In a bowl combine the ground turkey, almond meal, bell pepper, carrot, egg and salt and pepper
  3. Shape into four patties and place on a lightly greased baking sheet or throw them on the BBQ
  4. Bake/BBQ for 30 minutes, flipping once at about 15 minutes in
  5. To prepare the sauce mix together the dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce and honey
