Good morning and hello sugar hangover. Omg! I've probably mentioned this before, but I have a bit of a sugar addiction. And well, it was full blown yesterday. Thursday = my rest day from the gym = the day I experiment with paleo treats in the kitchen = a disaster for my stomach. Sometimes I manage to control myself, but yesterday was a different story. I started snacking on some dark chocolate, then gobbling down some paleo chocoalte chip cookies I'd made for a friend and next think you know I was pulling out the coconut ice cream I bought for "special occasions" it was OUT OF HAND! Needless to say, when I woke up this morning I felt bloated, tired and had a massive headache. My mouth felt yucky and I seriously wondered if I'd been out drinking all night. Had I dreamt it I probably would have believed it. But no, it was the damn sugar. So when I got out of bed I said "this is enough!" I need to get my shit together. I need a detox. A lot of the bloggers and foodies I follow have done the 21 Day Sugar Detox and I'd thought about doing it before, but then I always managed to talk myself out of it. I mean 21 days without sugar?! I can't do that! No literally, I tried once, I made it 5 days. But I have to do this. I'm pretty sure sugar is the main culprit in my quest for a leaner fitter body, so to hell with you sugar, it's time to get gone. So I'm starting today, I read the 21 Day Sugar Detox ebook this morning and I was super impressed. It's extremely thorough and explains why we should and shouldn't include various things in our diet, and it's written by a heap of professionals. There's amazing recipes, FAQs and lots of support. I'm excited and nervous, especillay since I've just annoucned to you all that I will be doing this. There's no going back! So if you'd like to give it a go with me you can get the book here and get ready to curb your sugar cravings! Good luck!
