Weekend Workout Anywhere #13

What is it about working out outside? For me working out outside is just so refreshing. Especially on a nice sunny day. Even if I'm at the gym I try to do some of my workouts outside. The fresh air can make a tough workout so much more enjoyable. I also love to travel and explore the outdoors, so throwing in a little workout while I'm on a hike or at the lake with friends is so much fun. Sometimes traveling can make you feel tired and lethargic, but getting outside for a workout can give you the energy you need to travel.

No matter where I am I try to get as creative as possible with my surroundings to incorporate as many muscle groups and levels of intensity as I can. I might find a sturdy tree to do pull ups on, stairs to run up and down, or a lake to swim laps in.

Todays workout incorporates a skill/strength movement, conditioning and some core exercises. I hope you enjoy it!

These workouts are made to be done anywhere with minimal to no equipment, so that no matter where you are this weekend, you can get a workout in!

Weekend Workout Anywhere #13

Every minute on the minute for 10 minutes:
5-10 strict handstand push-ups

For time:
5K Run

Core:
4 sets of:
10 second hollow hold
10 hollow rocks
10 second hollow hold
10 hollow rocks
10 second hollow hold
10 hollow rocks
*Perform the above unbroken, then rest 1 minute and repeat 4 times.
