My friends at PurePharma have been coming out with some pretty awesome products lately, and when I heard that they were launching a liquid Omega 3 I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! I've talked a lot about fish oil in the past. It's one of the supplements I swear by and highly recommend. Most of the nutrients we need to thrive we get easily by consuming a healthy diet. However, heart healthy Omega-3 is often one we lack if we aren’t eating a lot of oily fish. Specifically things like salmon, sardines, anchovies, mackerel or trout. I love salmon and eat it quite often. And f you eat Omega-3 rich foods on a regular basis you may not need a supplement. However, if you don’t, or if you’re an athlete, you may need a little bit more. Omega-3 can help to prevent inflammation, enhance recovery and improve endurance performance. So basically I never miss a dose!

There are always things we can do to improve our diet, and I'm so glad I was able to spend some time with the guys from PurePharma at the CrossFit Games last month because they reminded me of their importance. It's always great to hang out with likeminded individuals who also happen to be very smart.
