My friends at PurePharma have been coming out with some pretty awesome products lately, and when I heard that they were launching a liquid Omega 3 I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! I've talked a lot about fish oil in the past. It's one of the supplements I swear by and highly recommend. Most of the nutrients we need to thrive we get easily by consuming a healthy diet. However, heart healthy Omega-3 is often one we lack if we aren’t eating a lot of oily fish. Specifically things like salmon, sardines, anchovies, mackerel or trout. I love salmon and eat it quite often. And f you eat Omega-3 rich foods on a regular basis you may not need a supplement. However, if you don’t, or if you’re an athlete, you may need a little bit more. Omega-3 can help to prevent inflammation, enhance recovery and improve endurance performance. So basically I never miss a dose!

Roasted Cauliflower Salad with Pomegranate and Bacon

Cauliflower is a delicious, multifunctional vegetable, but it can also be bland if you don't cook it right or you cook it the same way over and over. PurePharma, a company that I work with, asked if I could come up with something tasty using a whole cauliflower. PurePharma is a supplement company that I love. They truly believe in developing the best products to help us live our healthiest lives. So, of course I was willing to come up with a healthy and delicious recipe to share on their blog. Since it's summertime I decided a salad of sorts would be perfect. I added in some bacon (because bacon makes everything better) and pomegranate seeds from a tree in our garden. The end result was this delicious dish.
