I'm always looking for quick, easy and tasty protein options. In addition to eating a paleo diet I also track my macronutrients. Eating the right balance of protein, carbs and fat helps to fuel my training, aid in my recovery and promote overall health. As an athlete this is so important to me! I find that carbs and fat are pretty easy to come by. Fruit, vegetables, avocados, nuts, etc. can all be eaten raw. But getting the right amount of protein every day is the most important thing and I hate being caught off guard.

I’m just sitting here watching the super bowl and drinking wine with my grandma. And by super bowl I mean the commercials, and Lady Gaga, and the half time show. It only seemed appropriate though that I should make us some proper super bowl snacks to enjoy while we watch.
